Hand me downs

Harper wears a lot of the same clothes that Finley wore

And it's so much fun to compare their baby pictures

to see how much they resemble each other

and to see how unique their own adorable faces are. 

One thing is for sure

they are both incredibly beautiful

and we are truly blessed! 

Back to work

Can't believe it's been almost 12 weeks 

since we welcomed our sweet little Harper into this world. 

And.... we can't imagine life without her!

Lots happened during the past couple months

we put in a patio, painted, etc,  traveled, 

and mostly just enjoyed each day as a new family of 4.

Lots of pictures and videos were taken

Most haven't been shared

But here's to hoping one day I'll sit down and 

go through all the pictures from this year

and share them. 

But for now, here are a few snapshots of our baby girl. 

We also kicked off the most wonderful time of the year

by paying Santa a visit.

By the look of the picture you'd think Finley wasn't so thrilled.

But she actually loved Santa

and talked and talked and talked to him

not about toys or what she wants

but in typical Finley fashion

showed him the Christmas trees, the lights, stars, water

everything that was in sight.

He was such a sweet Santa

and it was such a sweet moment.

Silly girl

Finley is such a happy go lucky little girl.

And will find fun in doing just about anything. 

Lately she's been all about dressing up

well....and dressing down

Such a silly girl who knows how to have a good time...all the time! 

Dancing without any pants 

No pants... wearing daddy's socks and her baby

Wearing mommy's slippers and pretending her shoes are gloves

one of the many days she's worn her monkey costume

She did her own hair! And decided to dress up her face with stickers 

Who needs to wear pants when vacuuming? 

Trying on all her pairs of shoes....and hats

Sporting stickers on her face once again and wearing her awesome doctor glasses. 

Sisters

Harper gets excited whenever she sees Finley

her big eyes follow Finley all over the room

and now she is beginning to show her love for her big sister 

through her cute littles noises.

Future Nurse?

 Finley has been having a blast playing with her medical kit 

She loves listening to everyone's heart

and gets especially happy when she gives shots

Just like a good nurse would ;)

2 months old!

Happy 2 months to sweet little Harper! 

She's weighing in at 11 lbs 3 oz and

measuring 23 and 1/4 inches.

She's growing.... especially those cheeks!

and changing every day.

We love you Harper Keilani! 

Happy Halloween

     We had a lot of fun getting into the halloween spirit this year.

Finley got to experience her first trick or treating

and of course she loved it! 

Once she realized you get candy at each door

she didn't want to stop.

Harper went along too...but she slept through the whole thing. 

Finley was adorable in her little monkey costume.

She loved it so much she never wanted to take it off

she totally embraced it! 

Happy Halloween!

Alabama

We decided to take advantage of our time off

and ventured down south for awhile.

We stopped in St. Louis and visited with Nonnie,

Liz, Katie, and Alex. 

Then we headed down to Gulf Shores.

It was a relaxing week with perfect weather

lots of time spent on the beach, in the pool, playing golf

golf cart rides, fishing, lounging around, and eating way too much seafood.

It was just what we needed.

Carousel

Finley experienced her first carousel ride while down in Alabama.

She was full of excitement the second she got on her horse.

She was overcome with giddiness, smiling from ear to ear,

waving her arms at everyone.

I couldn't stop smiling as I looked at how happy she was.

I didn't want the carousel ride to end (neither did Finley) 

Her excitement for life is contagious

She makes everyone around her smile, laugh, and just be happy.

Seeing life through the eyes of a child is beautiful and refreshing.

And really makes you stop and enjoy the little things.

Not just a newborn anymore

Harper is busy growing!

One month old!

Harper is officially one month old! 

Time sure has flown by. 

She weighed in at 9 lbs 10 oz and is now 22 inches long

Each day she is more alert- showing off her big, beautiful eyes. 

and each day brings us more joy than the last.
